KATSIDIS THINKS PACMAN WILL WIN OVER BARRERA
By Anthony 'Duljoman' Andales PhilBoxing.com Sun, 16 Sep 2007
Little Rock -- Katsidis the Great has predicted that Manny Pacquiao will win against Marco Antonio Barrera. He said that Marco Antonio has aged now and way past his prime. And if Manny's training in Cebu is effective then Manny will absolutely knockout Barrera, Katsidis added.
Also, I asked Katsidis about the rumors between him and our very own Pacquiao. He said that there are lots of talks going on but he will just wait for the outcome of Oct. 13 Diaz-Diaz and Oct. 6's Pacquiao-Barrera showdowns. But Kumpareng Katsidis reiterated that he will only fight Pacquiao at 135 lbs.
Whew! I dunno if Pacquiao will really climb to 135 lbs. According to Quinito Henson of Philstar that Pacquiao will climb up to 135 lbs if the offer is right. For sure after Oct. 6 Manny will weigh his options carefully. Manny can take punches but he was stunned by Larios (a natural featherweight) in their Araneta encounter. So lightweight force will be another story.
Katsidis will be tailor-made for Manny. But Michael just texted me that Manny is also custome-made for him.
The question is: Who will connect first?
Kumbatea Sugbo!
