Henry Rivalta: Moises Flores has the ?Heart and the Balls? to beat Rigondeaux

PhilBoxing.com

Henry Rivalta Co-Manager of Mexican fighter Moises ?Chucky? Flores, is convinced that his fighter has a great chance of defeating the Cuban Guillermo Rigondeaux, when both fighters are scheduled to fight in the upcoming months.

This past Saturday, newly crowned undefeated IBO super-bantamweight world champion, Moises ?Chucky? Flores (25-0, 17 KOs), received his belt from co-manager Henry Rivalta of Pro Box Management. Last June, Flores scored an impressive unanimous decision victory over Paulus Ambunda (24-2, 10 KOs), in his home town of Windhoek, Namibia (Africa), to earn the world title strap.

Flores, who is also the WBA interim champion, is now the mandatory challenger to face WBA super-champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs). Both camps are in negotiations with the possibility of the fight happening in the next few months. If the fight comes to fruition, both the WBA and IBO world title belts will be on the line.

After receiving his IBO world title belt, and a big fight looming with Rigondeaux, Flores speaks on his current situation. ?Winning the IBO world championship is a testimonial to my hard work and the great team around me,? said Mexico?s Moises ?Chucky? Flores? Together we worked really hard to get this world title.

I?m now the mandatory to challenge Guillermo Rigondeaux, a fight that I?m looking forward to. He?s a very skilled fighter, but I feel that I have all the tools to defeat him. My management team is working hard to get this fight finalized. It?s time to see who the best super-bantamweight of the world is. I am going to bring that world title home to Mexico.

Henry Rivalta, from Flores team told Ringsidefightingnews ?For me it is a tough fight and every fighter has to do what it takes to win over the ring. I believe that Moises is a boxer who has the heart and the balls to defeat Rigondeaux. We?ll be in a fight against the boxer that belongs to a man that I consider my brother Boris Arencibia, but that night our fighters will go to WAR. After the fight we will remain friends?

?I know we are going against one of the best fighters in the world as Rigondeaux. But we are willing to take the risk and take this opportunity and I believe that we have a great opportunity to win and achieve another title for Mexico? added Rivalta.
