Undefeated 21 year old Giemel Magramo, the fifth fighter in the exciting Magramo clan won the vacant WBC International flyweight title in an action-packed battle against Jeny Buca at the Flash Elorde Grand Ballroom on Saturday.

International referee Bruce McTavish told us he stopped the bout in the 6th round after Giemel ?threw around 20 unanswered punches against the game, equally hard-hitting Buca who engaged Magramo in a fierce give-and-take brawl in the first and second rounds with Magramo clearly the superior fighter, technically.

With the win Magramo, son of former champion Melvin Magramo improved his record to 15-0 with 12 knockouts. Magramo was coming off a 4th round TKO victory over journeyman Roilo Golez in a scheduled ten round bout last September 12.

Magramo, a stylish fighter with a powerful right hand didn?t have an easy fight against Buca. The 21 year old with a record of 10 knockouts in 10 wins with 2 defeats.

Buca is coming off a 2nd round knockout win over Michael Padayag in a six round bout last September 26 after he was forced to retire with a broken nose in a title fight against Ardin Diale who recently won the OPBF title.

Elorde?s opponent Master Suro is far less experienced than ?Bai? Elorde and has a record of 3-3-2 with 1 knockout. He won an 8th round unanimous decision over Yacob Ton also of Indonesia last June 9.

Juan Miguel Elorde (19-1, 10 KO?s) is the current WBO Asia Pacific super bantamweight champion and was in control of his fight against Indonesia?s Rasmanudin who had a record of 19-12-3 with 10 knockouts and has lost his last four fights including a 2nd round knockout at the hands of Roli Gasca of the famed Ala Gym.
