AGUELO IN FOR A HARD BATTLE IN MEXICO

Adones Aguelo (23-10-2,15KO's) of the Flores Boxing Gym of Mandaue City will try to beat the odds when he goes up against Mexican KO artist Adrian " Diamante" Estrella (20-0,18KO's), who is also the current WBC FECARBOX super featherweight champion.
The 26 year old Aguelo, a known local crowd-pleaser in the Visayas, lost to Sergio Thompson by unanimous decision in his last visit to Mexico.The 23 year old Estrella has beaten the likes of former two-division world champ Celestino Caballero of Panama and Filipino Balweg Bangoyan.
During the official wiegh-in in Sinaloa, Estrella has a weight of 58.9kgs (129.8lbs), while Aguelo stepped on the scales at 58 kilograms (127.8). They will fight Saturday (Sunday in the Philippines) at the Multipurpose Center of Los Mochis in Sinaloa.
