THE DEF Fight Night 15 will be held on May 13 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong.

“To further promote professional boxing in Hong Kong, DEF Promotions is proud to announce that we are going to broadcast the show in our own Facebook Page, starting from 7pm HKT (UTC+08:00), hoping to gain more attention to professional boxing from all around Asia,” said DEF Promotions founder and Director Jay Lau.

Five Japanese boxers from Watanabe Boxing Gym were invited.
“Thank you for an invitation to match in this exciting and growing city. I expect more and more large fighting events will be held in Hong Kong and more boxers will be sent from our boxing gym and most importantly, I would like to maintain a close relationship with DEF Promotions for an advanced boxing stage,” said Watanabe Gym president Hitoshi Watanabe.

“DEF Promotions is realizing its vision of building up the sport of professional boxing in Hong Kong, not just as a sport, but also a successful business,” Lau said.

There are two vital reasons for “DEF Fight Night 15”, the first is to accumulate the matching experience for those potential local boxers, especially to show talents in front of 1000+ audience.

The second is to introduce Hong Kong audience to a high quality boxing event, which also let local boxers to inspect and emulate the Asia professional boxers, set and reach a target from them in order to enhance their levels.”

DEF Promotions previously presented the largest professional boxing match in March – Clash of Champions 2 which set a new record with Hall 5BC of the HKCEC configured to seat up to 8,000.
DEF Fight Night 15”, which is proudly sponsored by Hong Kong Boradband, will set 1,600 seats. Tickets priced at HK$380, HK$580, HK$880 and HK$1,280, is available for sale at HK Ticketing (www.hkticketing.com).

DEF Promotions, is the premier combat sports promotion company in Hong Kong. In addition to being the driving force behind professional boxing in Hong Kong, the company is also the representative of Rex “The Wonder Kid” Tso, who has taken professional boxing by storm since his professional debut in September 2011.
