If Las Vegas has an exciting Saturday night with Mayweather vs Maidana 2, General Santos City will also have an exciting Saturday night of good boxing with an entertaining card at Lagao Gym that includes three 12-rounders featuring tough American, Indonesian and Filipino fighters mixing it up for regional WBC and WBF regional belts.

In the main event, unbeaten 20-year-old slugger Harmonito Dela Torre of Gensan will battle veteran Indonesian southpaw Isack Junior (22-5-2, 8 KO's) for the interim World Boxing Federation (WBF) super featherweight (130 lbs) title (top photo).

The taller Harmonito Dela Torre (13-0, 8 KO's) scaled in at 129 lbs during weigh-in today, while the Indonesian, a former WBO Asia Pacific champ, made 128 lbs for Saturday night's "Battle of the Pentagon."

In the co-main event, American Danny McDermott of Jersey City, New Jersey, weighed-in at 140 lbs while Filipino Ronnel Esparas of Samar tipped the scales at 145 lbs for their clash for the vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver Jr. Welterweight (140 lbs) belt.

Esparas and McDermott.

Moralde and Butar-Butar.

Since Esparas, 26, came in five pounds over the limit of the jr. welterweight division, the shinning green and golden belt is in play only for the American, who in his last outing defeated Jesar Ancajas last July at Bula Gym in Gensan.

In another exciting clash, promising 20-year-old John Vincent "Mulawin" Moralde (10-0, 6 KO's) of Davao City will exchange flying fists with Indonesian warrior Jason Butar Butar, 25, for the vacant World Boxing Federation International super bantamweight (122 lbs) strap.

Moralde weighed 120 lbs while the Indonesian Butar Butar, a former Indonesia 2-division national champ, made 121 lbs., and they are ready to rumble.

More combats complete the exciting card "Battle of the Pentagon," the newest production of Jim Claude Mananquil of Sanman Promotions.

Fights at start at 7pm. Don't miss the action!
