About Rey Loreto

Johnrey “Rey” Loreto (born November 10, 1990 in La Trinidad, Benguet) is a Filipino southpaw who competed in the mini‑flyweight and light‑flyweight divisions. Known as the “Hitman,” he captured the IBO light‑flyweight title in 2014 with a knockout of Nkosinathi Joyi in Monaco, later defending it successfully in South Africa. Loreto also held the PABA light‑flyweight championship and challenged for the WBA mini‑flyweight crown in 2017. He retired in 2019 with a professional record of 25 wins (17 by KO) against 15 losses, remembered for his upset victories and resilience against favored opponents.
