About Jerwin Ancajas

Jerwin Juntilla Ancajas (born January 1, 1992) is a Filipino professional boxer who held the IBF junior-bantamweight title from 2016 to 2022. Nicknamed “Pretty Boy,” Ancajas built his reputation with a string of successful defenses across multiple countries, including decisive wins over José Alfredo Rodríguez, Teiru Kinoshita, Jamie Conlan, and Israel González. Known for his southpaw stance, sharp body attacks, and consistency, he defended his title nine times before moving up in weight to challenge for the WBA bantamweight crown. With over 40 professional bouts and a record featuring 24 knockouts, Ancajas remains one of the Philippines’ most accomplished champions in the lighter divisions.
