Charly “King's Warrior” Suarez

Charly Coronel “King’s Warrior” Suarez (born August 14, 1988 in Davao del Norte) is a Filipino professional boxer and 2016 Olympian. A decorated amateur, he won multiple SEA Games gold medals and a silver at the 2014 Asian Games before turning pro in 2019. Suarez quickly rose through the ranks, capturing regional titles including the WBA Oceania, WBC ABCO, IBO, and IBF Inter-Continental super featherweight belts, and later the WBO International super featherweight title in 2024. In May 2025, he challenged Emanuel Navarrete for the WBO super featherweight crown, a bout that ended in controversy and was later ruled a no contest, with a rematch ordered. As of 2025, Suarez remains undefeated with a record of 19 fights, 18 wins (10 by KO), and 1 no contest, ranked among the world’s top junior lightweights.
